The AESTO Protocol

AESTO
Rosacea Control

A personalised protocol for controlling redness and reactive skin

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that can present with persistent or intermittent redness, visible dilated blood vessels, a burning sensation, sensitivity and heightened reactivity.

The condition can go through periods of flare-ups and calm, and both the symptoms and the factors that trigger them differ from patient to patient. That is why at AESTO Clinic we approach every skin individually and never rely on a one-size-fits-all therapy.

Drawing on the clinical experience of our team, we created AESTO Rosacea Control™ – a personalised treatment protocol aimed at long-term control of the visible signs of rosacea and at improving the overall condition and comfort of the skin.

AESTO Rosacea Control™ – a comprehensive medical approach to rosacea control
The protocol

What is AESTO Rosacea Control™?

AESTO Rosacea Control™ is not a single procedure but an individually designed treatment plan, defined after a consultation and an assessment of the skin.

The approach may combine vascular and laser technologies suited to the individual patient, dermatological therapies and professional care for the skin barrier.

The aim is to work simultaneously on the different manifestations of the condition – the visible redness and vessels, the sensitivity and reactivity, and the maintenance of the skin between procedures.

The approach may combine

  • Vascular and laser technologies

Selected according to the type and severity of the symptoms, after medical assessment.

  • Dermatological therapies

A medical approach to sensitivity, reactivity and flare-ups.

  • Professional skin-barrier care

Daily care and medical skincare tailored to the needs of the skin.

Indications

What does the protocol address?

AESTO Rosacea Control™ may be suitable for:

  • Diffuse and persistent facial redness
  • Visible capillaries and dilated superficial blood vessels
  • Recurrent episodes of intense flushing
  • Sensitive and reactive skin
  • A burning, warming or uncomfortable sensation
  • Skin that reacts strongly to temperature changes, sun, stress or other individual triggers
  • The need for a long-term strategy to control rosacea

The patient journey

How does the therapy work?

The first and most important step is the dermatological assessment. The specialist determines the type and severity of the symptoms, the condition of the vessels and the skin barrier, and the factors that may trigger a flare-up.

On this basis a personal AESTO Rosacea Control™ protocol is created – with suitable therapies, their sequence and the intervals between procedures.

The number of procedures and the duration of the treatment plan are not the same for every patient. They are determined individually and can be adapted over time according to how the skin responds.

Goals

What is the goal of AESTO Rosacea Control™?

Rosacea is a chronic condition, and the treatment approach is aimed at control rather than a promise of a permanent cure.

The main goals of the protocol are:

Individual approach

Rosacea requires an individual approach

Two cases of rosacea may look similar yet have different needs. That is why AESTO Rosacea Control™ begins not with the choice of a procedure, but with the correct assessment of the skin.

After a consultation, the AESTO Clinic team determines which methods are suitable, how they should be combined and what home care should complement the professional therapy.
