What is cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis (also known as CoolSculpting) is a revolutionary non-invasive treatment for fat reduction. The technology uses controlled cooling to freeze and destroy fat cells without damaging the surrounding tissue.

It is scientifically established that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than other cells. Exposed to a specific temperature they crystallise and die, after which the body naturally eliminates them over the following weeks and months.

How does the treatment work?

• Consultation and marking of the treatment area
• Placing a protective membrane on the skin
• Attaching the applicator with vacuum
• Controlled cooling (35-60 minutes)
• Massage of the treated area
• You can read, work on a laptop or simply rest

What to expect

During the treatment you will feel light suction and intense cold in the first few minutes, which quickly subsides. Afterwards it is normal to have redness, mild swelling or numbness, which pass within a few hours to days.

Results

First results become visible after 3-4 weeks, with the full effect after 2-3 months. A single session can reduce fat tissue in the treated area by 20-25%. Two to three sessions may be needed for optimal results.

An important advantage

Destroyed fat cells do NOT return. The result is permanent provided your weight stays stable. If you gain weight, the remaining fat cells can enlarge, but the treated area will stay slimmer.
